For me (Mixi) I can't even begin to explain why I chose this path. I think it either started in recorder class in elementary school or when I played the tuba in middle school! Music just drew me in. I picked up a guitar in high school after watching my friends band and my obsession with trying to make this my life went downhill from there!
There is so much going on right now. We finally finished the EP "Escape the Nightmare" and found an amazing booking agency that's helping get us on the road more. Inner light agency and Danny Z just keep popping up new dates for us so we plan on traveling with the EP as much as possible. We are also about to release the music video to "Is this the way you get to Hell."
We didn't really think before we write, it just comes out in collaboration. Although we do have people say what we remind them of. I hear a lot of comparison to In This Moment, Bullet for my Valentine, and My Chemical Romance as a girl version though.
Every time I'm asked that it's shocking to people. i like the old classic stuff. Louis Armstrong, Frank Sinatra, Bobby Darrin, Ella Fitzgerald...My all time favorite is The Beatles cause it reminds me of my dad. Mikey Mystery wishes he was Zakk Wylde, Nikki Misery is John 5's twin! Charlee Heart is kinda emo in general. Andrew is a drummer so he has bad taste in stuff in general! jk ^_~
We aren't ready to tell you the answer to that. For now, it's in the eye of the viewer.
It takes a lot of hard work and a lot of time. Everyone seems to think it's an easy gig. If it were easy everyone would do it! We all work very hard on our online numbers. We practice hard, we spend money we don't have to put toward the band, and sacrifice almost everything for the project. Ask a lot of questions, read stories on how people made music into a career, and learn as much as you can. It may look like a lot of fun but it is a business so you have to treat it like one. Last but not least NEVER GIVE UP!
I did it all for ya! <x3

Heey,
I'm Liv (oxlivxo for twitter)
So my questions are pretty basic,
But anyhow, here goes.
1.What got you motivated to start a band?
For me (Mixi) I can't even begin to explain why I chose this path. I think it either started in recorder class in elementary school or when I played the tuba in middle school! Music just drew me in. I picked up a guitar in high school after watching my friends band and my obsession with trying to make this my life went downhill from there!
2.Future plans for the band?
There is so much going on right now. We finally finished the EP "Escape the Nightmare" and found an amazing booking agency that's helping get us on the road more. Inner light agency and Danny Z just keep popping up new dates for us so we plan on traveling with the EP as much as possible. We are also about to release the music video to "Is this the way you get to Hell."
3.Major influences?
We didn't really think before we write, it just comes out in collaboration. Although we do have people say what we remind them of. I hear a lot of comparison to In This Moment, Bullet for my Valentine, and My Chemical Romance as a girl version though.
4. Favorite bands?
Every time I'm asked that it's shocking to people. i like the old classic stuff. Louis Armstrong, Frank Sinatra, Bobby Darrin, Ella Fitzgerald...My all time favorite is The Beatles cause it reminds me of my dad. Mikey Mystery wishes he was Zakk Wylde, Nikki Misery is John 5's twin! Charlee Heart is kinda emo in general. Andrew is a drummer so he has bad taste in stuff in general! jk ^_~
5. How did you come up with your name?
We aren't ready to tell you the answer to that. For now, it's in the eye of the viewer.
6.Any advice for anyone starting a band.
I have no idea if just one of you will be answering these, but if more than one would like to that would be stellar as well :)
Thanks again :)
I did it all for ya! <x3
